How Uganda’s professionals fared in the diaspora over the weekend

Only the Uganda Cranes skipper Dennis Onyango and Nicholas Wadada played the full 90 minutes whereas Farouk Miya and Nelson Ssekantuka had some playing time in their teams.

Timothy Awany – Ashdod (Israeli Premier League)

Timothy Awany was not in the matchday squad as his side FC Ashdod won 1-0 at home against Kiryat Shmona in the Israel Premier League.

Moses Waiswa – SuperSport United (South African Premier Division)

Moses Waiswa was an unused substitute as SuperSport United suffered a 2-1 defeat to Denis Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns in the South African Premier Division.  Onyango played 90 minutes for his side.

Faruku Miya – Konyaspor (Turkish Premier League)

Farouk Miya played as a substitute replacing Erdon Daci in the 64th minute as his side Konyaspor edged Ankaragucu 1-0 away from home in the Turkish Premier League

Emmanuel Okwi – Al-Ittihad (Egypt Premeir League)

Emmanuel Okwi scored one goal as his side Al Ittihad punished El Geish 3-0 in the Egyptian Premier League

Patrick Kaddu – RS Berkane (Morocco Botola Pro 1)

Forward Patrick Kaddu was also not in the matchday squad as RS Berkane drew 2-2 with Raja Casablanca in the Morocco Botola Pro League.

Nicholas Wadada – Azam FC (Tanzanian Premier League)

Nicholas Wadada played the 90 minutes as his side Azam FC won 1-0 at home against Yanga SC in the Vodacom Premier League in Tanzania

Nelson Ssekantuka – El Ouardighi (Morocco Botola Pro 1)

Nelson Ssekantuka was replaced by El Ouardighi in the 57th minute as his side Moghreb Tetouan fell 1-0 to Milton Kariisa’s MC Oudja in the Morocco Botola Pro League. Milton Kalisa was not in the match day squad.

Umar Kasumba – Zesco United (Zambia Premier League)

Umar Kasumba was on the bench his side Zesco United FC suffer a huge defeat of 3-0 to Zanaco in the Zambia Premier League

Paul Musamali – Buildcon (Zambia Premier League)

Paul Musamali was an unused substitute as Buildcon FC cruised 2-0 past Kabwe Youth FC in the Zambia Premier League
