George Ssemwogerere joins Tanzania’s First division side Pamba Sports Club as new head coach.

The former Express head coach who signed the contract to join the Club has been without a coaching job since he was relieved of his duties at Wankulukuku.
In his first statement after joining the Club Semwogerere came out to emphasize togetherness saying;
If we work together from the players to the fans we will do well and we will bring back the Pamba that people know”
I used energy and raised Kagera sugar and since then they have never gone down again” he added
This will be the gaffer’s second job beyond borders after Kagera Sugar and is on a long list of Ugandans that have had coaching stints in the Tanzania Premier League top flight.
These include Abdallah Mubiru, Mathias Lule, Moses Basena, George Best Nsimbe and Jackson ‘Mia Mia’ Mayanja.
The Tanzania topflight campaign kicked off on 17th August where Pamba Sports Club won 1-0 against Ken Gold courtstey of a Ally Shiboli.
In his first game on the touchline, the team will play Mbeya City at home on the 24th September.

Pamba Sports Club is a Tanzanian football club based in Mwanza. It was formed in 1968 and currently plays in the Tanzanian First Division League.
The Club are one time Tanzanian Premier League winners in the year of 1990 and Nyerere Cup winners in the years 1989 and 1992.
