Former Vipers SC versatile defender, Geoffrey Wasswa, has completed a switch to rivals and record StarTimes UPL champions SC Villa.
The development was confirmed by the club on Saturday evening via their social media platforms.
The club wrote; “Welcome to SC Villa, Geofrey Wasswa.”

Wasswa joins the Jogoos on a short-term deal after weeks of training with the Nsambya based side.
After the confirmation, Wasswa wrote on his Twitter account that he is so glad to join the most successful club in Ugandan football.
“I am glad to be a Jogoo, looking forward to joining the lads and play for the badge,” he said before adding;
“SC Villa is the most successful club in Uganda. I am here to add to that success. Every player’s dream is to play for this club even if it is for a single game.”
Wasswa ran out of contract at Vipers Sports Club and talks to have the contract renewed fell on a dead-end. He was close to joining Express FC but he still failed to reach an agreement on contractual terms with the Wankulukuku side.
He is expected to partner Gavin Kizito Mugweri or Asuman Harishe in central defence.
