Garuga Stars Football Club emerged as Champions of Wakiso District after winning away away to Nabbingo SC 0-1 .
The Entebbe side’s only goal was scored by Joseph Enyabu and assisted by Ivan Mugisha in the second half.
This meant that the Garuga stars finished as leaders in the Victoria North group with 36 points whereas Nabbingo SC led Victoria group with 38 points.
Garuga emerged champions when the two met today to decide the eventual winners of the Wakiso 4th division league.
Per the goal chats, Ali Edmond(Garuga stars) Emerged as the topscorer of the League with 10 goals.
The stars will now shift focus to Buganda mini league playoffs that are due on 15th this month in Kyankwanzi for a slot in next season’s Buganda regional league.
