Gahanga Queens and Challengers CC lead RCA T20 leagues

After match day three of the RCA women’s T20 league, Gahanga Queens dominate the table with consecutive victories over Muhanga Zebras and Sorwathe Cricket Club.

Their next challenge awaits against Charity Cricket Club on May 1st.

Merveille Uwase of Gahanga Queens leads the batting charts with 65 runs from two matches, while Iriho Veronique of Muhanga Zebras tops the bowling statistics with 6 wickets, including a recent 5-wicket haul against Sorathwe Cricket Club that helped her to clinch the Player of Match award.


In the men’s T20 league, Challengers CC holds the top spot after securing victories in their first two matches.

The defending champions of the RCA Men’s T10 league share points with IPRC Kigali but lead on net run rate.

Challengers CC triumphed over Right Guards Cricket Club by 8 wickets in their latest match, following a commanding 100-run win against Indorwa Cricket Club in their opener.

Next up, Challengers CC will face Kutch Sports Club on April 21st in a bid to maintain their position at the summit.

Oscar Manishimwe from IPRC Kigali Cricket Club leads the batting standings with 167 runs from two innings, while Ezekiel Muhawenimana of Right Guards Cricket Club tops the bowling charts with 6 wickets from two games.
