Nankya strike came from a freekick in the 5th minute of a highly intensive game played on Tuesday morning.
Aside from the goal, there was nothing much to report about in the opening half as both failed to create enough clinical chances.
After making a double substitution in the second half, She Corporates looked a better side but still failed to find the equaliser as Substitute Atim Susan’s effort rattled the crossbar in what proved to be the best scoring moment in the closing half.
UCU Lady Cardinals now get to three points and will verse Lady Doves in their second group game tomorrow. Lady Doves thumped Isra SC 5-0 In their opener yesterday and play Olira High School today.
While She Corporates have suffered their first loss this season after edging past Olira High School 1-0 on Monday.
