Fazila Ikwaput and Siporosa Amoding were on target on Monday afternoon as Lady Doves and Olila High School shared spoils in a FUFA Women’s Super league game played at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru
Ikwaput netted for Lady Doves while Siporosa levelled matters for Olila High School
Olila started the game the brightest side but were unable to capitalize on the few chances they created in the opening 15 minutes to get the opener.
But it was the Doves that broke the deadlock when Ikwaput netted his fifth goal in two games when her powerful shot in the 35th minute caught Olila’s goalkeeper Ajuma Eglas unaware.
Just before the half-time break, Daisy Nakaziro made a wonderful save to keep her side in the lead before recess.
Olila returned for the second half the better side as they imposed alot of threat on the Lady Doves that stood rock solid until in the 75th minute when their resilience was broken by Amoding in the 75th minute.
Amoding capitalized on a defensive error to guide his effort in between the legs of the Doves defenders for the equaliser.
This results send Lady Doves further top of the Group B with four points garnered in two games while Olila have registered their first point after losing to She Corporates in their first game.
Lady Doves will play UCU Lady Cardinals next on Wednesday while Olila High School will face Isra SC.
