The Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) together with betPawa Uganda unveiled a new brand identity for the Futsal Super League at Serena Hotel on Friday morning.
This comes after betPawa struck a partnership the Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) earlier in September 2023.
Through the Patnership, betPawa become the title sponsor of the Futsal Super League and it will be called the BetPawa Futsal Super League for the next one year just like the betPawa Big League.
A happy and excited Hamza Jjunju (FAU Chairman) spoke about the stakeholders and labeled the Patnership as a huge milestone in Futsal saying;
“We are excited to have betPawa on board, as this gives us the opportunity to develop the Futsal sport to compete better.” he said
Adding; “betPawa takes the naming rights of Futsal Super League and will be called the betPawa Futsal Super league.”
“betPawa will give a Locker Room Bonus ( LRB) to all players of the winning team who make the squad list per match.”
“This bonus will be UGX 150,000 for each player and will be sent directly to their phones immediately after they win.” He concluded
betPawa Country Marketing Manager Ivy Nyonyozi also came forward and enlightened more on the kits all teams will use;
“We are very excited to be partnering with FAU. As part of it, we shall provide all the 12 teams with kits.” she said
“All the winning team members will each receive UGX 150,000/= as a locker room bonus for their efforts” she affirmed
Thé betPawa will have awards at the end of the season where the Most Valuable Player, best goalkeeper and young players will be celebrated.
