Vipers Sports Club head coach Fred Kajoba believes his charges are well set for the Express FC challenge in the StarTimes UPL on Tuesday evening.
The Venoms will travel to the Betway Muteesa II Stadium-Wankulukuku to face to the Red Eagles in a rescheduled Matchday two-game which was postponed earlier in December.
But, although Express FC have collected maximum points from home this season beating (Soltilo Bright Stars and Sports Club Villa), Fred Kajoba believes his charges are ready for the challenge after their incredible win against MYDA on Saturday.
“We know the kind of opponent we are going to play and the atmosphere,” Kajoba told the Club website.
“They’re a good side, but we are set for the challenge. We are not going to be complacent despite our last win.”
“We expect our opponent to play the same way and we attack from our defence. But the most important thing for us is to play according to our plan.”
Vipers SC smashed MYDA 7-0 on Saturday afternoon to move to third place on the table and any win against the Red Eagles on Tuesday evening propels them to top place on the 16-team log with 13 points, transcending current leaders UPDF FC by a point.
Vipers has not lost a league game against Express since 2016 when a Derrick Tekwo lone goal at Nakivubo Stadium won the game for the Red Eagles.
