Talented shot stopper Daisy Nakaziro joins reigning FUFA Women Super League first runners up Kampala Queens from Uganda Martyrs High School Women Football Club on a two-year deal.

She comes the clubs’ fourth signing after right back Asia Nakibuuka, left back Sumaya Komuntale and midfielder Teddy Najjuma
Nakaziro last season was piling her trade at Uganda Martyrs who finished third on the Log where she only featured in three games due to injury.
The Uganda international also played for Masindi based side Lady Doves before joining the Lubaga side winning them a FUFA Women’s Super League in 2020 and helping them finish third at the first edition of the CAF Women Champions League Zonal Qualifiers in Ethiopia.
Nakaziro has six caps on the National team making her debut in Uganda’s 5-1 win over Eswatini in the 2021 COSAFA tournament.
Recently she featured for the Crested Cranes at the 2022 CECAFA senior Women’s Championship in Njeru in Njeru, Jinja where she won the golden glove and was also part of the team at the 2022 WAFCON tournament in Morocco.
