Final Uganda CECAFA U23 squad for Saudi Arabia trip revealed

The head coach of Uganda U23 team Morley Byekwaso has named a 25-player squad for the Saudi Arabia Trip.

The squad left Entebbe International Airport at 11:00PM on Tuesday aboard Qatar Airways QR 1386 to Saudi Arabia

The trip is funded by the Saudi Arabian Football Association and while there, the Uganda Cranes will play two games against the Saudi National Team (The Falcons) on 2nd and 5th July 2021.

The squad will be captained by Express Enock Walusimbi while three over age players have also been included.

Charles Lukwago, Saidi Kyeyune and Steven Mukwala have all made the trip to Saudi Arabia

The CECAFA U23 tourney will take place in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia starting on July 17th.
