FIFA World Cup Qualifers: Karisa dropped as Micho names final travelling squad to Rwanda

Vipers SC winger Milton Karisa’ is among the seven players that were dropped by Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Sredojevic ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifier tie with Rwanda in Kigali.

Karisa started the previous game against Mali but has now missed out of the travelling squad to Kigali this evening.

The other unlucky members include Charles Lwanga, Sadat Anaku, Joel Mutakubwa and Mahad Kakooza.

Uganda will face Rwanda on Thursday at the Stade Nyamiryambo, Kigali for the first tie of the double header. The second meeting will happen on 10th October.

Among the new inclusions that made the final travelling list include Najib Fesali and Livingstone Mulondo.

The team will set off at Entebbe international airport aboard RwandAir.

Uganda is currently third in group E with two points from as many games after goalless draw against Kenya and Mali
