Ugandan forward Fahad Bayo scored a late winner to help his side, Ashdod SC overcome Beitar Jerusalem 2-1 in the Israel Premier league game played at Teddy Stadium, Jerusalem on Monday evening.
Dean David broke the deadlock in the 11th minute to give the Dolphins an early lead but his goal was cancelled out in the 24th minute by Nigerian Ali Mohammed to ensure the game went into the halftime break with scores tied.
The match seemed to have been headed for a draw, but with almost the last kick of the game, Bayo came to the rescue when he rebounded a loose ball to net the game’s winner in the 93rd minute.
