Diaspora: Lubega strikes for Paide, Moses Waiswa starts – latest from Ugandan professionals abroad

In Estonia, Edrisa Lubega was on target for Paide Linnameskond as they were eliminated from the Estonian Cup in penalty shoot outs by Tulevik. With only two minutes to the death of the game, the Ugandan forward found the back of the net to level the match at 2-2 and send it into penalty shootouts. Paide went on to lose 3-2.

In South Africa, Moses Waiswa started and played full-time as his Supersport United side edged Stellenbosch 1-0 in the DStv Premiership.

Still in the DStv Premiership, Dennis Onyango was in goal as Mamelodi Sundowns defeated Cape Town City FC 2-0 at the Cape Town stadium.

In Vietnam, Moses Oloya started and played full-time for Hanoi FC who claimed an emphatic 4-2 win over Sài Gòn in the V. League 1 Playoff.

Still, in the V. League 1, Geoffrey Baba Kizito also played full-time as his Than Quang Ninh suffered a 1-0 loss to Viettel FC.

In England, Uche Ikpeazu Mubiru was an unused substitute as Wycombe Wanderers claimed their second win of the season after a 2-1 victory over Birmingham City in the English Championship.

Elvis Bwomono once again featured full-time as his side, Southend United FC lost 3-0 to Bradford City in the English league two.

In Zambia, Goalkeeper Mathias Kigonya kept his second successive clean sheet for the Forest Rangers who claimed a 1-0 win over Zesco FC in the Zambia MTN Premier league.
