Uganda Professional players continue to feature for their respective teams and this time round, Joseph Mpande and Moses Oloya headline the top stories in diaspora. Kamardin Shero gets to delve into how Ugandan played abroad turned out in the mid-week action.

In Vietnam, Joseph Mpande was on target twice as his Hai Phong side claimed a 2-0 win over Thanh Hoa in the Vietnam League 1. The Ugandan forward found the back of the net in each half to inspire his side to a much-needed win.

Still in the V. league 1, Moses Oloya played full-time for Hanoi FC as they claimed a 1-0 win over Hong Linh Ha Tinh, while Geoffrey Kizito also featured full-time and was yellow carded as he helped his Than Quang Ninh side to a 3-1 win over Hoang Anh Gia Lal.

In England, Ikpeazu Mubiru Uche was still out with an injury as his side, Wycombe Wanderers lost 1-0 to Reading FC in the English Championship.

Elvis Bwomono played full-time as his South End lost 3-0 to Salford City in the English league two.

In Tanzania, Nicholas Wadada started and helped his Azam FC side defeat Ihefu FC 2-0 in the Vodacom Tanzanian Premier League.

Boban Zirintusa didn’t make the matchday squad as Mtibwa Sugar FC registred a 1-0 win over Namungo FC.

In the CAF Confederation Cup, Abdul Lumala was still out with a knee injury as his Pyramids FC progressed to the finals after defeating Robert Odongkara’s Horoya FC 2-0 in the semis.

In Sudan, goalie Jamal Salim Magoola was in goal as his side, Al Hilal claimed a 3-0 win over Ahli Shandi.
