Volleyball entered the fray, joining football at the third outing of the Corporate Sports Network on Sunday 26th May.
With change in venue from the Luzira Prison Grounds to MUBS more companies like Hotel Africana and Centenary bank joined the Network.
At the start of the games, Manifest TV Uganda had the day’s opener in football with Hariss International Limited and before kickoff honored a colleague, Friend and brother Otim Emmanuel who passed on this month.
Otim was an integral part of Corporate games and will be greatly missed by all in the Corporate fraternity.
Onto the field, Harris International, DTB Bank, Dummen Orange, Case hospital, Lubaga Hospital, Quality Chemicals industries, DFCU, URA among others lifted the day with exceptional performances .
Vision Group came out big in Football as they won their games on the pitch to lead the table by a magnificent 30 points, URA and Tropical Bank coming up in second and third respectively on 29 points.
In Fourth, is I & M bank who raised a total of 28 points after Winning two games on the day against SGA security (1-0) and DTB Bank ( 2-0) after losing to Coca Cola Breverages and drawing with DFCU Bank earlier.

Off the field, we had a chat with Sadam Captain to I&M in the Corporate games who was so thankful to the Bank’s customers;

“I also want to Congratulate our executive director Sam Ntulume for celebrating his birthday this month”
“Sporting wise, I&M is a strong force, we are edging closer to our aim this season, currently we are third in Football, Volleyball and other areas of Sports so the goal is still the same.”
“Particularly today, we didn’t start off well I don’t know if the spirits were not yet there but we have picked up as the day went on.” He concluded
There was also free HIV testing from Case Hospital who partnered up with Riki to make sure that health of all people at the games is safe.
The next outing will consist of only two games, Pool and Swimming at Hotel Africana on Sunday 8th June.
