Uganda Cranes Head Coach Jonathan McKinstry has named a 34-Man provisional squad ahead upcoming CHAN tournament in Cameroon. The selected provisional team will start training and preparation next month.
Fans favourite and Busoga United midfield gem David Bagoole misses out on the provisional squad even though the midfielder has been in a tremendous form which has seen him swoop three man of the match accolades in the previous three games for Busoga United
KCCA shot stopper and McKinstry’s first choice during the concluded CECAFA tournament Charles Lukwago has been included even though he has injury concerns and may not be fit for the tourney.
The provisional squad also includes surprise faces like KCCA’s Julius Poloto and Albert Achai while also Vipers’ Milton Karisa makes the cut.
Uganda is in group C with defending champions Morocco, Togo and neighbours Rwanda
The final tournament of the Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) Cameroon 2020 will be held from 4th-25th April 2020 in the cities of Yaounde, Douala and Limbe.
