The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced new dates for the last and final qualifying matches of the 2021 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
After thrashing Tanzania 6-2 on aggregate in the first round of the qualifiers, Uganda Under 17 women’s football team was due to face Cameroon in the final qualifying games in May 2020 but the games were postponed due to deadly COVID-19 pandemic that put the whole world into a standstill.

Now, Africa’s football governing body, CAF has announced and confirmed new dates where the first leg will be played between 30th October 2020 and 1st November 2020 while the second leg of the fixtures will take place between 19th November and 21st November 2020.
The aggregate winner from the two-legged ties will progress to the 2021 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup finals due to take place in India starting February next year.
