South Sudanese officials have been appointed by the Confederation of Africa Football ( CAF) to officiate the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg tie between Vipers SC and Olympic Real De Bangui this weekend.

Ring Nyier Akech Malong will be the center referee and will be assisted by fellow countrymen, Gasim Madir and Robert Henry

Another South Sudanese Alier Michael James will be the fourth official while Rwanda’s Alexis Redamptus Nshimiyimana will commission the match.

Malong was also the centre referee in the CAF Confederation Cup tie between URA FC and Al Masry at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende last year.

Vipers go into the second leg with an advantage courtesy of Abdu Lumala, Najib Yiga and Isa Mubiru goals in the first leg played in Congo Brazzaville last weekend.

If Vipers negotiate past Bangui over two legs, they will verse TP Mazembe in the final qualification round.
