Build-up game: Uganda handed a Saudi Arabian beating

Uganda Kobs ended their camp in Saudi Arabia with a 2-0 defeat to the host country.

Abdullah Abdrahman and Hashim Alyami netted the two goals for the Falcons in the contest that was played at the Prince Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Riyadh on Monday.

Abdrahman netted the opener in the first half before Alyami sealed the victory for his side just before the death of the game.

This was a second practice game against Saudi Arabia in less than three days. They drew the first 0-0 on Friday evening.

The two build up games were funded by the Saudi Arabian Football Association and were arranged to prepare Uganda for the upcoming CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia, starting next week.

This year’s CECAFA Senior Challenge edition, unlike in previous editions will feature players that under the age of 23 years with only three over-age  players.
