StarTimes Uganda Premier league outfits Kyetume FC have sacked their head coach Alex Isabirye after just month since he was appointed.
The development comes just a day after his side lost 3-0 to Police FC in a StarTimes UPL game at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
Isabirye was appointed as the Slaughterers head coach at the beginning of March after the club parted ways with Livingstone Mbabazi but the former URA tactician has failed up a string of impressive results.
In his five games in charge, he has managed just one draw against Express and has lost to KCCA, Villa, URA and Police.
Speaking to Swift Sports, an sports online publication on Sunday morning, Isabirye said he was okay with the decision made by the management since he has failed to achieve the club targets.
“I am okay with the decision taken by the management and I will take it in good faith”
Reports in the corridors have it that the Technical director Jackson Mayanja will assume the role of head coach for the remainder of the season.
