Vipers SC have confirmed the appointment of experienced tactician Alex Isabirye as their new head coach.
Isabirye joins the Venoms as a direct replacement to Roberto Beto Bianchi Pellister, who parted ways with the club last week after the loss to Simba SC in the CAF Champions League.
He also joins the Kitende-based side just a day after guiding BUL FC to Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 after beating SC Villa 1-0 at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru.
Apart from BUL, Isabirye has also previously coached at URA FC, Victoria University, Kyetume FC, Soana FC, Busoga United and Horseed FC. He led URA to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League title in 2012 and he also helped Victoria University and BUL win the Uganda Cup.

Isabirye’s first task at Vipers will a Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 16 tie at Wakiso Giants on Tuesday at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
The Venoms currently sit fourth on the log with 28 points in 15 games, seven below leaders KCCA FC. They also sit bottom of CAF Champions League Group C with just a single point to show in four games.
