After Juma Miyagi, four other players including U19 Captain graduate to the Uganda National Cricket senior team ahead of the Africa Cup Challenge due to take place in Benoni, South Africa.
The tournament that is set to be played from September 15th to 21st will see a squad of 14 players take part in it notably there will be youngsters in the team.
There young players will include U19 Captain Pascal Murungi, U19 assistant Captain Munir Ismail, Aziz Damani’s Centurion Alpesh Ramjani and Joseph Baguma.
Murungi and his U19 mates were winners at the U19 World Cup in the West Indies after they finished 13th having won against Scotland and Papua New Guinea in the classification matches.
The cricket Cranes who have been in camp for more than a month in preparation for the Africa Cup in South Africa and the T20 world cup qualifier in March next year will be Captained by Brian Masaba who returns from a finger injury.
Uganda is pitted in Group A with Nigeria, Ghana and Malawi. In the other group (B) Kenya, Cameroon, Botswana and Mozambique.
