Despite different talk of an internal conflict between South Sudan and Uganda over Amus College defender and Captain Toto Majub, he has been named by Hippos head coach Mathias Lule in squad to represent Uganda at the AFCON U20 CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.

The named squad that will be captained by Majub has 20 players who will travel and compete in the tournament due in Tanzania where the tournament is set to kick off on October 6th and climax on 20th.

Uganda being the defending Champions will look to make a statement with a new manager in Lule and the Hippos are placed in Group B alongside Ethiopia, Burundi, and South Sudan, kicking off their title campaign against Ethiopia on Monday, October 7th, at the Azam Complex- 6pm.
The team will depart for Ethiopia on Friday evening aboard Uganda Airlines.
