The Uganda Hippos have been drawn in group B of the CECAFA regional U-20 AFCON qualifiers alongside Burundi, Eritrea and South Sudan.
The draws were held on Wednesday evening virtually due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The ten football nations that confirmed participation for the tourney have been pooled into three groups.
Tanzania are the reigning champions have beaten Kenya 1-0 in finals last year at the FUFA technical Center, Njeru .
This year’s AFCON U-20 zonal qualifiers will be played in Tanzania from the 22nd, November to 6th, December 2020.
Similarly, also the Uganda U-17 team have also been in group B alongside Kenya and Ethiopia in the Central-East zone AFCON U-17 Morrocco qualifiers scheduled to be hosted in Rwanda between the 13th- 28th December 2020
