BUL FC head coach David Isabirye has acknowledged the challenge awaiting his side ahead of their Uganda Premier League clash against Maroons FC this Wednesday at Luzira.

Despite BUL’s strong historical record in the fixture, Isabirye admits that playing away to Maroons has consistently proven difficult.

“It has been difficult for us over the seasons to win against Maroons in Luzira, but I have prepared my boys for this mission over the past three weeks. I expect to make some changes to ensure we win this game,” he said.

BUL, who sit eighth on 30 points, will also be without injured duo Alex Kitata and Isaac Musiima. Meanwhile, ninth-placed Maroons trail by four points, setting up a closely contested encounter.

A win for BUL would see them complete a league double over Maroons for the first time since the 2018/19 season.
