Borussia Dortmund guaranteed their UEFA Champions League spot last weekend when they secured three points away at Mainz 05.
Their 3-1 victory was achieved by tirelessly exploiting Mainz’s left and right wings. 82% of their attacks occurred this way, with 42% taking place down the left, and 40% down the right.
This is compared to a season average of 36% and 37% respectively.
