A few weeks after the draws, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has released the dates at which different games of the World Cup qualifiers will be played.
Despite the outcome of their last outcome of the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger in September, the Cranes will kickstart their campaign with two away fixtures.
Two fixtures will be against Guinea and Somalia in November between 13th and 21st this year respectively.
With communication from the state minister for Sports Peter Ogwang Mandela National stadium – Namboole will be ready to host Botswana and Algeria between 3rd and 11th March.

Each team that tops the league will move straight to the World Cup, while the four best group runners-up will participate in play-offs.
This time round, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will increase participating teams from 32 to 48 which automatically increases the number of teams from Africa from 5 to 9 or possibly 10 depending on the outcome of the inter- continental playoffs.
