Ugandan rower Kathleen Noble finished fifth (5th) in Heat 1 of the Women’s Single Sculls event at the 2024 Paris Olympics in France.
Noble posted a time of 8:08.90, her best time at the competition after she finished in the same position in heat at the previous edition where she posted 8:21.85 in the 2000m rowing race that was won by world champion Sanita Pupsure from Ireland who posted 7:46:08.
This time round, Australia’s rower Tara Rigney came out on top in Heat 1 of the women’s 2000m single scull at the 2024 Paris Olympics posting 7:30.01.
It’s understood that only the top three from each heat will progressing to the Quarterfinals which means the Uganda-born Rower drops to repechage and will be fighting for rankings.
