2023 FEASSSA : Mulindwa welcomes back triumphant SMASK

On Tuesday morning St Mary’s boarding Secondary School (SMASK) director, Dr. Lawrence Mulindwa welcomed back his different successful sports school teams from the Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games

All this was done at the school’s main campus in Kitende where Mulindwa was handed all the four trophies won by both the boys and girls army which was led by Number one fan Kamodo.

The triumphant SMASK won the Boys Football trophy where they beat Amus College 4-2 on penalties, Girls Netball after they humbled St Noa girls just like in the 5*5 basketball in the girls category and 3*3 basketball where they thumped Rwanda’s GS Marie Rennie.

A delighted Lawrence Mulindwa hailed his schools performance as a masterclass saying;

“It was a masterclass performance from all teams now we have four beautiful animals here it’s not something easy at regional level.”

Adding on to say that “This was a big challenge that required a lot of preparation in our vision we have somewhere say we shall offer all around Education not only at Classroom level but to also grow, nature and develop talents and this is where we are.”

“I thank everyone who has been part of this wonderful success and this achievement is a huge milestone in the history of Kitende.”

“It is an investment worthy talking about, people complain why it’s always us. We are there because we are there.”

“We understand what they call investment which requires sacrifice.” He asserted

Mulindwa hailed Madoi who had trials and still decided to first play for the school and concluded by rewarding each member of the team with an envelope and also facilitated them with pocket money for next term as they will return a week after the others.

For the technical staff who include the coaches, team scouts and medical doctors will all have their salaries increased effective next month as cited by a happy Mulindwa for their achievements.

St Mary’s will now look forward to the International Schools Football games (ISF) in 2024 next year.
