0

The Masaza Cup competition of the year 2023 is set to start on Saturday 24th June 2023 at the Muteesa II Stadium – Wankulukuku.

As it usually is the norm, the champion of the previous edition plays the opening game of the following edition so Busiro will play host to Mawokota.

This will happen in front of the Kabaka of Buganda His Majesty Ronald Mwenda Mutebi.

In a press conference that was held at Bulange, the Sports minister in the Kingdom of Buganda Owek. Sulaiman Ssejjengo clarified that they are not going to use Wakkisha grounds the home ground of Busiro as a team.

This is because of the magnitudes of people the King of Buganda His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Mwenda Mutebi attracts are usually huge hence opting for Wankulukuku.

This year’s theme of the competition will be “Men in the fight against HIV/AIDS to save the girl child”

The gates will open at 10am and the game will kickoff at 3pm with ordinary tickets going for 10,000/=, VIP: 30,000/=
