The Rugby Cranes Sevens to final squad to represent Uganda at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape town, South Africa has been announced .
The team was released this morning by the Uganda Rugby Sevens head coach Tolbert Onyango at the Kyadodo Rugby Club.

The squad consists of 12 players. It is dominated by Stanbic Black Pirates and Heathens players that will take part in the games to be played from 9th to 11th September .
The majority of the players in this squad are from the Stanbic Black Pirates Camp and mainly based on the 7’s team that qualified for the WorldCup 7’s in SouthArica.
They secured their slot at the World Cup Sevens after they won the 2022 Rugby Africa Sevens that was hosted in Kampala, Uganda.
The Uganda Rugby Sevens team has played in different tournaments this year that has helped them gain loads of experience like the 2022 Commonwealth games in Birmingham, England where they finished 5th and the World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series in Chile where they finished 6th.

Isaac Massangazira was been dropped due to injury.
The above team will be flagged off at the National Council of Sports on Friday Morning.
