URA FC confirms the signing of Goal Keeper Yusuf Wasswa who has been a free agent on a two year deal.
“Wasswa has been undergoing trials at the club’s training ground in the past 6 weeks. He has impressed the coaching team with his work ethics and goal keeping skills. He also successfully passed medical tests undertaken by the clubs medical team” as communicated by the Club

The skipper has previously played for UPDF last season registering seven(7) clean sheets to his name, Onduparaka FC and SC Villa in the Ugandan Premier League.
With James Alitho ruled out of the upcoming 2022/23 football season with a long term knee injury, Wasswa is expected to play alongside Nafian Alionzi and Hannighton Ssebalunyo
He joins former team mate James Begisa and George Senkaaba who were brought into the club earlier in the transfer window.
