Uganda Premier League

What next for Derrick Nsibambi?

Derrick Nsibambi - KCCA FC

Former Kireka United FC, KCCA FC and now Smouha FC player, Derrick Nsibambi is seen looming around the corners of Lugogo at the moment as the Uganda Premier League is ongoing.

Nsimbabi fell out with his now former pay masters Smouha FC, a top division club in Egypt, Alexandria before his 3 years agreement could end.

It’s not been long since he joined the Egyptian side from Uganda’s Premier League, KCCA FC. While at the Club, he won 4 major trophies – both back to back league trophies in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons alongside the Uganda Cup in 2016/17 and 2017/18 consecutively.

Nsibambi is remembered for his only goal against Zambia in the 2018 CHAN, Africa Nations tournament in Morocco.

He has been spotted training with KCCA FC at the StarTimes stadium but we wait to see of there are any developments especially with the January transfer window coming up.

Should he join KCCA FC in the January transfer window, this would be the right time baring in mind that the club still lacks a pacy center forward of his nature at the moment.
