KCCA appoints new chairman for Football Club


The Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) has this evening announced the appointment of a new Chairman to the Kampala City Council Authority Football Club – KCCA FC.

KCCA via a tweet made an announcement confirming a new chairman and board for the club for the next three years.

The tweet confirms Mr. Martin Ssekajja – an ICT Director at City Hall as the new Chairman and will be assisted by Aggrey Ashaba, who has been serving as an interim.

KCCA also confirmed the appointment of Davis Othieno as the Club Secretary.

His Worship, the Mayor of Makindye Division, Ali Kasirye Nganda commonly known as Mulyanyama alongside Kennedy Okello, Moses Kataabu, Tom Lwanga, Karanja Dumba Kyaterekera, and Joseph Kirimanyi make up the new board as members.

In a phone chat, the new chairman is positive will manage to fit in the new and somewhat strange role he will be serving.

I am happy to be appointed in this new role. I always give my best in everything I do. Serving as the Chairman of a football club has its own duties and I am pleased to face this new challenge. I am a quick learner and will be ready for the new things coming ahead

The new KCCA FC Chairman, Mr. Martin Ssekajja is a former ICT Lecturer at Makerere University Kampala Schools of Computing and Information Technologies.
