URA FC finally registered their first away victory of the 2025/26 Uganda Premier League season after defeating Buhimba United Saints 3-0 on the final day of the campaign at Royals Park Arena.
The Tax Collectors produced one of their most convincing performances of the season as they comfortably dispatched the already relegated hosts to wrap up a difficult league campaign on a positive note.
Kevin Ssekibengo opened the scoring in the 20th minute before Joseph Ssemujju doubled URA’s advantage just five minutes later to hand the visitors complete control of the contest.
Ssemujju later completed his brace deep into stoppage time, sealing an emphatic victory for the visitors and taking his tally for the day to two goals.
Despite the win, it has largely been a disappointing season for URA, who struggled for consistency throughout the campaign. The result sees the four-time league champions finish 11th on the table with 31 points.
For Buhimba United Saints, the defeat marked a disappointing end to their stay in the top flight. The Hoima-based side finishes bottom of the standings with 12 points after a difficult season that also saw them sanctioned for failing to honour the game against NEC FC at Lugogo earlier this month.
