Living Kabon fired the final goal of the day that sent Kitara back to the top of the star Times Uganda premier league in Muteesa 2 stadium Wankulukuku.
Kabon’s direct corner kick in the 6th minute of second half added time went straight into the back of the net adding the game 1-2.
The visitors had earlier taken a lead in the 10th minute when Denis Omedi tapped the ball passed goalkeeper, Abubakar Yunus off Frank Zaga’s pass.
Isaac Wagoina equalised seven minutes later from a penalty kick after Maxwell Owagichiu brought him down in the box.
The Masindi based side had several attempts in both the first and second half through Denis Omedi, Jude Ssemugabi. Kabon Living.
The eye catching attempts came in the final minutes with several saves from Express goalkeeper and back to back corner kicks from which the second goal was scored.
Isaac Wagoina, Safi Mansoor and Alpha Ssali kept the Kitara defenders at check throughout the match.
Kitara sit on the top of the table with 47points, 1 ahead of Vipers and Bul who are tied on 46 points while Express stay in the 9th with 32 points.
The royals will host Mbarara city on 30th April in Masindi as Express will be hosting NEC on the same day in Wankulukuku.
