UBCL: Ukasha labels Kasujja as Dramatic ahead of their week 15 bout

As we edge closer to the Uganda Boxing Champions League season 3 Finals, Week 15 is one that will obviously get Boxing Fans on their toes this Saturday 7th December.

Inside the Lugogo Indoor Arena, Bombers Captain Matovu Ukasha will be out to face Richard Kasujja in Welterweight contest of the day’s main fight which promises a lot in terms of technical and Physical ability.

Ukasha who hails from COBAP Boxing Club is set to maintain his unbeaten record this season with his fellow team mate Batte Nuhu (also unbeaten) in sight ahead of the finals.

During the weigh in on Friday morning, Ukasha labeled this bout as a dream for the Lukanga Boxer;

“He’s dream is to beat me but unfortunately it may not come to pass” he started

“From point of view, boxing attracted drama since this gentleman says his a hunter and he should go and hunt Rabbits” he added

“He’s working towards going back while am working towards heading forward and that’s the difference I can see” Ukasha concluded

For Kasujja, he believes in surprising his opponents;

“Ukasha is one of those fighters that believe forever and ever things don’t but am stationed to surprise him” he said

“The day is tomorrow am well prepared and am not willing to overly celebrate after I win” Kasujja added and concluded

Incase of a win against Kasujja, Ukasha will get into the top two of the Welterweight with no loss just like Batte.

The Lukanga boxer will equal Ukasha on Four wins Incase of a win.

In the Light Welterweight 63.5 Kgs, Kazungu Frank (Brawn BC) who has had a good season so far will face the dorminant Rackara Paul who currently tops the weight.

So far this season, Kazungu has won once and bagged to Walk Overs while Rackara has won four times his latest being East Coast’s Onen Jaffar.

A head of the bout Raskara cited that his toughness comes from his dark skin of a rat.

And Kazungu on the other-side replied that; “He (Rackara) is the rat and I am the poison therefore I warn him”

Other bouts will see Kololo’s Frank Mawanda take on East Coast’s Kasim Mulungi in a Featherweight contest.

Week 14’s here Kemis Ibrahim from Mutajjazi will take on struggling Kaddu Julius of Katabi in  a the Lightweight 60 kgs Elite contest.

In a Light middleweight Elite 71Kgs contest, Nerrick Tumusiime `Bulabe’ is set to return to winning ways when he faces fellow S4 candidate Mutaasa Ashiraf from Mutajjazi.
