SUPL: Vipers target returning to winning ways against Maroons


Vipers SC will target getting back to winning ways when they host Maroons FC on Wednesday evening at the St. Marys Stadium,Kitende for a Startimes Uganda Premier league encounter.

The log leaders, Vipers SC are winless in the last 2 league games, losing to URA FC (3-1) at Ndejje University  and drawing against the current holders,KCCA (0-0) at home.

Meanwhile Maroons have a terrible run of form in the league, winning just 1 of the last 8 games. They were condemned to a loss against Busoga United (1-0)

Vipers sit atop of the log with 50 points while Maroons sit 13th on 24 points, 26 behind the Venoms.

Vipers won the last game against Maroons FC by counterfeit after Hangington Sebwalunyo was ineligible for that the game.

The hosts, Vipers will still be without Skipper Halid Lwaliwa and Striker Tito Okello who are out with Toe and Head injuries respectively.

Maroons will be wothout their star Striker, Steven Mukwala who is cap tied to play against his masters while Hannington  Sebwalunyo is out suspended.
