SUPL: URA tax Express on return at Muteesa II Stadium,Wankulukuku behind closed doors

Express FC was welcomed back at their home Muteesa II stadium with a 2-1 loss against the tax collectors of URA SC in the Startimes Uganda Premier League on Tuesday 25th, February behind closed doors. Express last hosted a league game in Wankulukuku on the 29th of October 2019.

Goals from Ssenyonga Mikidadi in the 15th minute and Anwar Ntege in the 49th minute of the game were enough to secure three points for Sam Ssimbwa. Frank Kalanda netted a consolation for Wasswa Bbosa’s side in the 72nd minute but it wasn’t enough as coach Bbosa lost his first game since replacing George Ssimwogerere at the mukwano gwa’bangi club.

Ashraf Mandela walked away with the man of the match accolade for his brilliant display as he continues to vie for a spot on the Uganda Cranes CHAN team.

URA who sits in the 4th position on the log with 40 points is only ten points below table leaders Vipers SC on 50 points. Express remains in the 11th position with 28 points.
