StarTimes UPL: Ssemujju nets hat trick as URA beat Arua Hill in Lugazi

In David Obua’s fifth game of Uganda premier league as URA head coach, today, his side comfortably defeated Arua Hills 4-1 at the Mehta Sports stadium in Lugazi on Sunday.

Arua Hills took the lead in the fifth minute through a Safi Mansoor’s tap in from Reagan Mpade’s left wing cross before Joseph Ssemujju levelled matters in the twenty sixth minute off Laban Tibita’s corner kick.

Two minutes later, Ibrahim Dada got the second goal for the hosts utilizing youngster Amis Bwangani’s assist ending the half time 2-1.

Ten minutes into the second half, Joseph Ssemujju had completed his brace and hat trick in the 72nd minute solely driving his ball from the left wing.

Joseph Ssemujju emerged as the man of the match after scoring his hat trick in the game.

The Tax Collectors are in the seventh position with 16 points while Arua Hills stay at the bottom last position with only 5 points out of the 11 games played.

In the next fixture, the Tax collectors travel to Jinja to play Busoga United on 21st December at the Njeru Technical Center while the Kongolo host Maroons a day before  in Adjuman at the Paridi stadium.
