Hosts KCCA came from behind to edge visitors URA 3-2 at Phillip Omondi stadium Lugogo on Tuesday evening .
Muhammad Shaban who of late had dipped in form came off the bench to twice secure a winner for KCCA from a goal down.
However on-form Norman Namanya and a fit Viane Ssekajugo netted URA’s only two goals on the day.
Herbert Achai opened the Kasasiro boy’s first, three minutes after the restart which an equaliser that cancelled out Namanya’s fourth minute header from a Eric Ssenjobe free kick.
In the 59th minute, Ssekajugo got at the end of a cross after goalkeeper Derrick Ochan had saved a 30 yards free kick.
Nine minutes later, Ssekajugo turned from hero to villain as he put the ball into his own net only for Shaban to later on get the winner in the 72nd minute capitalizing on a mistake by James Begisa.
This result meant that KCCA now stage in 9th on the log with 19 points in 14 games just a point behind URA who are 7th.
In their next games, KCCA will visit Wakiso Giants at the Kabaka Kyabaggu on Saturday 6th January while URA will host SC Villa in Lugazi .
