Sentamu’s hattrick came in the second half to wrap up Vipers third consecutive victory at home.

Earlier on in the first half, Vipers got into the lead through Rogers Adriko’s own goal off a teasing Sentamu cross.

The venoms could have gone into the break with a 2-0 lead but Sentamu missed from close range after being set through by Milton Karisa.

But with 16 minutes left on the clock in the second half, the Vipers striker got his first of the day as he slotted past Simon Mabuya after being setup by Bright Anukani.

His second came six minutes later before the third arrived in the 83rd minute.

UPDF’s best scoring chance fell to Abasi Kyeyune in the opening half, but the youngster failed to beat Alfred Mudekereza.
