Nothing could separate URA FC and Onduparaka FC as the two sides played out to a 1-all stalemate in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game on Friday.
Muhammad Shaban was on the score sheet for Onduparaka in the first half while Najib Fesali netted to URA in the second half.
URA put the ball first into the back of the net, but that Living Kabon’s strike was disallowed after a strong protest by Onduparaka players after an handball.
Immediately after that on the other end, Onduparaka took the lead with Shaban looping past goalkeeper James Alitho.
Just after the break, URA would have equalised on two separate occasions by Steven Mukwala and Shafik Kagimu failed to find the target.
After some attacks, URA finally leveled matters, Fesali heading home after an excellent free kick from Kagimu.
Both sides tried to find the winner, but none was lucky enough to net later on in the game.
1-all it ended and the points were shared at AbaBet Greenlight Stadium.
Onduparaka are now 11th on the log with 11 points while URA stay eighth with 14 points in 9 games.
Onduparaka play Gaddafi next while URA battle Mbarara City FC.
