This will be Bright Stars first game at home this season as they host new entrants Maroons on Tuesday in the 2022/23 Uganda Premier League season at the Kavumba Recreation Grounds.
Anxiety is up in the air, as Bright Stars hope to kick-off their first home fixture this season in great fashion against a Maroons side who won their first fixture of the campaign thanks to a Fred Amaku brace and other goals from Isaac Mpagi, Solomon Walusimbi and Noel Nasasira .
Mwebaze at some point in his career coached the opponents on the day(Maroons) spending about thirteen (13) years at the Club, grooming alot of players at the team then, like Mustafa Kiiza, Patrick Kaddu among others not forgetting the head coach Muhammad Ssenfuma who was once his assistant.
Just like Mwebaze heading meeting his former employers, it will be the same case for Maroons goal keeper Simon Tamale who had a fine spell at the Kavumba side.
Mwebaze will want to use the same system he used at Kitende on the opening day with reason that it got him a result however much the two sides are a bit different.
Maroons have got some exciting young talent in their team something that this Bright Stars team also posesses.
The feel around the game might be that this is a one sided fixture since Maroons were firing all cylinders against Busoga United putting five past them with no reply on match day one but this will be a different game and might depend on who is tactically better between the two coaches on the day.
The Last meeting between the two sides, was won by Bright Stars at Kavumba Recreation grounds, 2-1
