Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club ( KCCA FC) returned to winning ways on Saturday evening after defeating Blacks Power 4-1 in a game played at Lugogo.

Allan Okello and Rogers Mato scored a brace each for KCCA, who came into this game off a disappointing loss to Maroons last week.

The opening half was short of goalscoring chances as both sides nearly matched each other in almost all aspects.

Blacks Power had the chance of opening half early on in the game but KCCA goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan made a brilliant save to deny Mike Siwu.

With the scores tied at the start of the second half, KCCA head coach Morley Byekwaso made a tactical change to bring on Moses Waiswa for Usama Arafat.

And less than 10 minutes later, his side got their deserved lead through Mato, who combined beautifully with Okello to break the deadlock.

Mato and Okello again combined well for the second few moments later for Mato to set up Okello to shot in off the post from outside the box.

KCCA’s third came from a foul in the area by Ahmed Amayo on Mato to leave the referee with no choice than to award a spotkick. Okello stepped up and converted it.

Blacks Power pulled a goal back in the 68th minutes as Bronson Nsubuga rose highest to head in a brilliantly driven-in Siwu’s cross.

Before the game came to an end, Mato restored KCCA’s advantage with a beautiful powerful strike after being set up by Waiswa.

With the three vital points, the Kasasiro Boys move to fifth place on the log with nine points in five games.

Blacks Power have now lost their fourth game this season and now sit second bottom with two points.
