Ibrahim Kayiwa and Franco Balabala were on target for Busoga United on Wednesday afternoon as they claimed a 2-0 victory over new comes Blacks Power in a StarTimes Uganda Premier League game played at Kakindu Stadium in Jinja.
Kayiwa, who was making his debut opened the scoring in the fourth minute before Balabala converted from the spot early on in the second half to double Busoga’s advantage.
With the 2-0 victory, Busoga claims it’s first victory of the season after losing their first game 5-0 to Maroons.
While Blacks Power have lost their second game of season in as many games and now sit bottom of the log.
Blacks Power also lost their first game 5-0 to BUL FC at Aki Bua Memorial Stadium.
In the next fixtures, Blacks Power will host Soltilo Bright Stars whole Busoga United will visit UPDF in Bombo.
