Stanbic Uganda Cup: FUFA confirms dates for Quarter Finals

The Federation of Uganda Football Association ( FUFA) Competitions Department has revealed dates for the 2023 Stanbic Uganda Cup quarter finals.

FUFA Big League side Police FC and StarTimes Uganda Premier League side and defending Champions BUL get the last eight underway on Wednesday, 12th April at Kavumba Recreation Center before last year’s runner-ups Vipers SC hosts Calvary on Friday 14th April.

Adjumani Town Council Football Club will then host Express FC at Paridi Stadium on Saturday April 15th before Soltilo Bright Stars’ tie against KCCA closes off the quarter finals on Sunday April 16th at Kavumba Recreation Center.

At this round, there will be an extra time of not more than 15 minutes each half to determine the winner if the teams remain tied by goals at the end of the 90 minutes.

If the teams remain tied after extra time, we will have spot kicks to determine the winner.

BUL won last year’s tournament in Masindi after defeating Vipers 3-1 in the repeat of the 2021 final.

KCCA and Express are the record winners of the prestigious competition with 10 cups each. The winner of the competition represents Uganda in the CAF Confederations Cup.
