SC Villa condemns Onduparaka to heaviest home defeat


Onduparaka FC suffered their heaviest league defeat at the Greenlight stadium as SC Villa put 3 goals past them.

SC Villa started the game on the high and scored 2 quick goals in the opening quarter of the game courtesy of Emmanuel Kalyowa and Faizal Muwawu.

Onform Onduparaka talisman Malingumu Julius pulled a goal back for the Caterpillars in the 68th minute to give the home side some hope of recovery.

Faisal Muwawu had a chance to complete his brace but was denied by the woodwork having beaten goalie Wasswa off a Dudu Ramadan defensive error when he failed to chest the ball to his goalkeeper, letting the on-running Villa forward take a moment.

Substitute Fahad Badiro extend Villa’s lead to 2 goals at the death of the game to hand Onduparaka their heaviest home defeat since they were promoted to the FUFA Startimes Uganda Premier League in 2016.

SC Villa are unbeaten since the opening week of the league collecting 7 wins and 6 draws in 13 games and now sit comfortably in 3rd position, only 6 points off log leaders Vipers SC.

Having suffered their heaviest league defeat at home ,Onduparaka remain 4th with 23 points garnered in 15 games.
