Swalik Bebe’s second-half strike condemned KCCA FC to their third league loss of the season at the Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara in the Startimes Uganda Premier League.

With the absence of head coach Mike Mutebi who was rumored to have come late for the journey to the west and the unavailability of star players; Allan Okello and Mustafa Kizza, KCCA FC were indeed headed for a steep mountain to climb away in Mbarara.

In the 71st minute, substitute Eric Ssenjobe’s awful ball clearance led to Mbarara City FC’s second goal when Bebe Swalik who shot the ball with vigor into the back of the net for the hosts’ second on the day to give the hosts a much-deserved lead and send the home crowd into jubilation.

This was the 5th meeting between the two sides and the game’s first win after the two sides going level in the past four.
